Medium Range Product IMO III Chemical Tankers 46.100 MT dwt
Delivered to Minerva by Daedong Shipyard, the 46,100 MT Product and Chemical IMO III carriers are mainly focusing on the oil-products trade.
The ships have been designed with a very high specification, much superior than that needed for the intended trade in petroleum products.
With this "easy clean" cargo tank configuration, the vessels have the ability to efficiently switch between dirty and clean cargoes.

Structural Integrity
Stainless steel (sus 316) is an element you will find abundant onboard ship. From cargo pumps and lines to cargo manifolds and C.O.W. machines, not to mention heating coils and valves. Supreme phenolic coatings are used throughout the cargo area which is divided by one longitudinal and six transverse corrugated bulkheads. The construction of all four vessels has been certified by the ABS "Safehull" program to guarantee structural integrity.
State of the art equipment used in all departments enhances the ships performance and endurance:
- At the bridge department an integrated bridge system for safe navigation has been provided on all four vessels.
- At the cargo department, a Framo pumping system, accompanied by the latest Autronica radar beam ullaging system.
- Integrated alarm and monitoring, plus performance monitoring systems interfaced with the bridge, are installed at the engine department. Likewise, to assure quality and reliability throughout the ships, some of the top manufacturers have been selected.
